The owner/designer Eeva is also called mummi by her grandchildren (Mummi means grandma in Finnish).  Her grandchildren gave her the inspiration to re-start sewing in a larger scale. 

It all started years ago when she made quilts for her grandchildren.  Then friends and relatives ordered one...there was a request for a diaper bag...Mummi Quilts was born.

Mummi Designs is all about personalized Custom bags, Keepsake Memory Quilts and practical accessories for your home and for your personal use.

Eeva's passion in life is sewing, gardening, woodwork and painting. She has over 40 years of sewing experience and also a degree in fine arts.

Beautiful fabrics like MARIMEKKO are the inspiration for all the items you find in the shop.  

mummi designs include Custom Bags, Keepsake Memory Quilts and practical everyday items.   Eeva is continuously designing new products with designer fabrics and Custom orders are always welcome.
